Another year, another holiday, another Christmas Eve Rowland’s cookie recipe! Every holiday season, our Executive Chef shares a unique cookie recipe in the hopes that our customers will bake a taste of the Westglow kitchen in their own homes.
The yearly process is fun. Our chef rarely tells us which recipe he’ll pick until a few days before Christmas, so there’s always a little anticipation leading up to the release. Then, we bake a batch of the selected recipe and stage a holiday cookie photo shoot around the property. Of course, we eat the batch of cookies afterwards.
This year, Chef Colin Patience selected Neiman Marcus cookies as our holiday recipe. These cookies are just about as elegant and timeless as a dessert can be; and urban legend upholds that a lady dining at the Neiman Marcus Diner in Dallas bought the recipe for $250. We love classic and quirky backstories like that one and think this recipe is a perfect fit for our yearly gift tradition.
