Westglow is a luxury health spa specializing in personal attention. Whether visiting for day spa treatments, a weekend getaway or retreat, Westglow offers a full complement of spa services including face and body treatments, health and well-being therapies, and salon services for hair and nails. An extensive array of activities, classes, and adventure spa packages are also available. Professional services are provided by male and female therapists, and guests may expect to have either during their stay. Service itineraries will be provided as reminders for scheduled services during each stay.
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Westglow Mansion is a Greek Revival mansion featuring elegantly decorated suites, a regal formal dining room and a relaxing parlor. Our accommodations also include the Cedar Lodge, which features rooms with private deep-well Jacuzzi tubs, fireplaces and private decks—perfect for those seeking a secluded and cozy atmosphere. Our fully equipped and state-of-the-Life Enrichment Center is the hub of all our spa services. The facility includes an indoor swimming pool, aerobics studio, whirlpools, saunas, and other amenities. Other recreational amenities include a tennis court and nearby walking trails.
Whether your idea of a mountain spa vacation is a weekend getaway or a single body treatment, Westglow Resort & Spa offers a wide range of luxury spa packages to suit the needs of guests. These include All-Inclusive Spa Packages, Day Spa Packages, Lodging Only, A La Carte Services, and Specialty Packages. All packages, with the exception of the A La Carte Services (individual services), include the use of all Westglow facilities – indoor swimming pool, whirlpool, saunas, fitness classes, morning hiking, cardiovascular center, weight room and tennis court.
Packages with overnight stays are all-inclusive spa vacations and feature luxurious accommodations in the Westglow Mansion or Cedar Lodge, three gourmet meals daily, use of all resort and spa facilities (ratio of 3 staff members to every guest), fitness classes, group activities, and morning nature hikes. Our in-house amenities include: Aqua di Parma toiletries, 400+ thread count sheets, down-alternative bedding, monogrammed slippers, oversized Egyptian cotton robes, luxurious and plush bath towels, wireless internet connection, flat screen cable television with wireless headphones, portable DVD players with in-house movie library, and a private telephone and number for each room.
To guarantee the availability of your preferred time and service, we suggest making your appointment five to six weeks in advance for spa packages. A la carte services can only be scheduled 48 hours in advance.
We recommend you arrive 15 to 20 minutes prior to your appointment.
Rooms are guaranteed by 3:00pm for Check-in/Check-out 12:00pm.
The length of treatment varies from service to service with the average being 45 to 60 minutes long.
Your everyday wear is fine. Upon arrival at Westglow, our floor staff host will lead you to the locker room/dressing area where you will be provided with a robe and slippers for your comfort. We encourage guests here on a day or overnight spa getaway package to bring a bathing suit and exercise clothes for use of the pool, saunas, whirlpools, and exercise areas.
Yes, Westglow provides lockers for securing your clothes and valuables. All lockers have a towel and robe.
Clothes lockers, private showers, and dressing rooms are available, as well as hair dryers, shampoo and conditioner, deodorant, razors, and body lotions.
Yes, Westglow provides complimentary spa tea, coffee, herbal teas, and lemon ice water at the poolside café. In addition, we provide a basket of fresh fruit on the counter top of the café every afternoon.
Yes, you may purchase the luxurious products used during your spa getaway in the Life Enrichment Center. Products also may be purchased in our online store or through our mail order catalog, which is available at the front desk.
Yes, our full service salon is open daily to spa guests, members and the public. Our salon provides hair care, nail care, waxing services, and specialty services including make-up application and lessons.
Rowland’s Restaurant in the Westglow Mansion is open every evening to guests and the public for fine dining. Considered one of the premier gourmet restaurants in the High Country, Rowland’s offers both an indulgent and a spa menu. For dinner guests, the appropriate attire is business casual, and we ask that guests refrain from wearing jeans, sandals, or flip-flops. Also, to ensure no disruption with other patrons, we ask that no cell phones be brought to dinner.
Westglow’s historic mansion and elegant estate is the ideal location for a wedding, and we provide full-service wedding packages that allow you to have exclusive access to the property and amenities for the weekend.
